Our Women’s Wellness Community is a support group for women living with fibroids, endometriosis and PMOS (PCOS).
This community aims to provide a supportive space where women can connect with others who understand their experiences, access reliable information, share coping strategies and receive encouragement on their health journey.
Fibroids, endometriosis and polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS, formerly PCOS) can have a significant impact on women’s physical health, emotional wellbeing, relationships, work and quality of life. Yet many women face these challenges in silence and alone. This new programme recognises that women may need more than clinical care; they can also benefit from community, understanding and practical support.
Through this initiative, participants will have opportunities to engage in peer support, discussions, educational sessions and wellbeing activities designed to reduce isolation, provide support and strengthen self-advocacy. We hope this programme will help women feel heard, informed and equipped to manage their health and wellbeing.
We are grateful to the Covista Caribbean Community Program for recognising the importance of women’s health and investing in initiatives that strengthen community wellbeing.

Next Session
Our next Women’s Wellness Community session will take place on 11th August at 6 pm, and our focus will be on nutrition.
We are delighted to welcome guest speaker Ms Genesia Pemberton, Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Officer at the Nevis Health Promotion Unit.
Ms Pemberton will explore the importance of nutrition in managing fibroids, endometriosis, and PMOS, and will demonstrate how to prepare a healthy, tasty snack that you can try at home.
