What we collect
We will only collect and store information with your consent. We may collect the following
- Your name and email address when you sign-up for our newsletter
- The questions you submit to our Fibroids Ask the Expert panel along with your email address
- Your email address and mailing address when you book event tickets and purchase something from our store. Your credit card details will be processed by PayPal or Stripe.
What we do with the information we gather
If you have subscribed to our newsletter, your name and email address will be required so that we can send you our monthly e-newsletter. We will only add you to our the mailing list for our newsletter if you subscribed and therefore gave us permission to add you to our mailing list. Subscribing to our newsletter can only be done via the subscribe facility on our website or if you give us permission to add you to our mailing list by signing our mailing list sign-up sheet in person at an event. We will never add you to our mailing list without your permission and you can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of any edition of our newsletter.
When submitting a question to our Fibroids Ask the Expert panel, we’ll ask for your name and email address. We only use this information to receive your question and send you an answer from a member of our expert panel. Once your question is answered to your satisfaction any identifiable information will be deleted. We won’t store your information and we won’t add you to our mailing list unless you give us permission to do so.
From time to time we conduct surveys, but these are always anonymous using Survey Monkey or a similar platform. After the survey we may ask if you would like to receive a summary report of the survey and we’ll ask for your email address so that we can send you the summary report. We will only use your email address for that purpose and will not add you to our mailing list unless you give us permission to do so.
We have a small online shop where you can book to attend events, register for webinars and purchase recorded webinars. You will be asked for your email address, mailing address and phone number in order to process your order using a third party payment gateway (Stripe or PayPal). Your information will be used to contact you about your purchase and once your order is closed your information will be deleted. We will only use your contact details for this purpose and will not add you to our mailing list unless you gives us permission to do so. Your credit card details will be processed by Stripe or PayPal, we will not collect or store this information.
If you leave a comment on our website, you will be asked to provide your email address. We will only use this information to acknowledge receipt of your comment and respond if a response is necessary. We will not add you to our mailing list unless you give us permission to do so.
Security
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have used a trusted website provider (Hostgator), have an up-to-date security certificate and a content management system with security measures in place to protect your data.

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement.
