In today’s episode we focus on a study that we really, really love – the Harvard Adult Development Study, affectionately known as the Harvard Happiness Study.
This is a study that we have come across many times and we just find really fascinating. It is one of the longest running public health studies and tracked the health and wellbeing of a group of Harvard students for 75 years. The aim of the study was to determine what factors contribute to a healthy and happy life. Surprisingly they found that being in good quality relationships has a more significant impact on our health than previously thought.
In this episode of our podcast we summarise the study and the three main lessons researchers learnt about relationships and our health.
We hope you enjoy this episode and please do let us know what you think about this interesting topic.
