Our Routes to Resilience animation series was designed to inspire and support viewers in protecting their mental health. By sharing simple strategies through everyday, relatable scenarios, the series shows that resilience isn’t about being perfect; it’s about finding practical ways to cope, adapt, and thrive in daily life.

What makes this series even more special is that it was conceptualised and brought to life in-house by our talented and creative Social Media Officer, Tau Omowale, whose vision and storytelling skills made the topic of resilience both engaging and relatable.

Beyond the Stigma

We all carry something — stress, isolation, sleepless nights, self-doubt, the weight of unspoken pain. Often, it builds quietly, shaped by everyday pressures and invisible forces we’re told to “push through.”

But mental health isn’t about pushing through. It’s about understanding what we carry — and learning how to set it down.

This video, Beyond the Stigma, gently unpacks the complex web of factors that affect our mental wellbeing — from trauma and toxic relationships to lifestyle and self-talk. But more importantly, it offers a message of hope: that healing is possible, and support is real.

Because mental health shouldn’t be about what’s “wrong” with you — it should be about what’s possible when we’re given the space, the tools, and the compassion to grow

Balance Within

We often think burnout happens all at once. But more often, it builds quietly — through endless “yeses,” postponed rest, and the invisible weight of others’ needs. In these moments, protecting our peace can feel selfish.

But real balance begins with small, courageous choices: a breath, a boundary, a gentle no that makes space for your yes.

In our latest video, “Balance Within, we follow Mia — a people-pleaser stretched thin — as she slowly reclaims her sense of calm through intentional self-care.

In “Balance Within”, we follow Mia — a people-pleaser stretched thin — as she slowly reclaims her sense of calm through intentional self-care. From mindful breathing to boundary setting, Mia’s journey reminds us that mental wellbeing isn’t a destination; it’s a practice we return to, one breath at a time.

Balance Within” is part of our Routes To Resilience animation series— an animated video series offering stories, tools, and gentle reminders that healing is possible, and support is always near. If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health challenges, support is available.

Nourishing Minds

Some days, it starts with a shortcut — skipping breakfast, reaching for a sugary coffee, running on barely any sleep. It seems harmless. But how we care for our bodies shapes how we think, feel, and cope. Mental health isn’t just in the mind — it’s in the body too.

In this Routes to Resilience animation video, “Nourishing Minds”, we explore how everyday habits — sleep, hydration, nutrition — impact mood, focus, and resilience. The video follows Jordan and Mia as they navigate their days, showing how small

choices can ripple into very different outcomes.

It’s not about being perfect. It’s about being intentional. A little rest. A glass of water. A bowl of oats. A serving of greens.

Creativity and Wellness

Not every struggle is loud. Sometimes it looks like boredom, disconnection, or simply going through the motions. But even in those quiet moments, there’s a spark waiting to be found.

In our final Routes to Resilience animation, Creativity & Wellness, we follow Alex — a teen who breaks out of emotional burnout through music. What begins as curiosity becomes a lifeline. A creative outlet. A way to connect, cope, and come alive.

Whether it’s guitar, painting, journaling, or dancing in your room — creativity helps us process emotions, regulate stress, and feel connected to something bigger. You don’t have to be good at it. You just have to start.

And with that, Routes to Resilience comes to a close. To everyone who watched, shared, and reflected with us: thank you. We hope these stories helped you feel seen, supported — and reminded that healing takes many forms. Your mental health matters. Always
