About the St Kitts and Nevis NCD Alliance

The St Kitts and Nevis NCD Alliance is a coalition of civil society organizations dedicated to the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Our mission is multi-faceted:

  • Public Education: Raising awareness and educating the public on NCD prevention and management.
  • Supporting NCD Patients: Providing support and resources to those living with NCDs.
  • Advocacy: Pushing for evidence-based NCD policies to create a healthier environment.
  • Capacity Building: Strengthening the capabilities of our members to enhance their impact.
Our Role and Support

Lake Health and Wellbeing acts as the secretariat and convenor of the Alliance. Our journey has been supported by invaluable technical assistance and funding from our the Global Health Advocacy Incubator and the Commonwealth Foundation. Their support has been crucial during our start-up phase, enabling us to lay a strong foundation for future growth and impact.

Moving Forward

With the support of the Commonwealth Foundation, we are committed to advancing our efforts in the fight against NCDs. We are dedicated to building a robust, sustainable alliance that can effectively address the health challenges facing our community.

Stay tuned for more updates and join us in promoting a healthier St Kitts and Nevis.
