World Lupus Day is recognised every year on 10th May and provides an opportunity for us to focus on this condition which is more common in black women.

World Lupus Day was established for lupus organisations around the world to call for increases in public and private sector funding for medical research on lupus, targeted education programs for health professionals, patients and the public, and worldwide recognition of lupus as a significant public health issue.
